Tomaya – Garlic Sauce
This garlic sauce I ate for the first time in a restaurant of Shawerma in Alexandria. They brought it to me with the fried potatoes, salad, and shawerma itself. I fall in love with this sauce immediately. It was love at first sight 😀 and stayed with me all my life..
Moreover it is very easy to make it and I finally found the best recipe so now you can enjoy or fall in love with it the same way as me
1 cup of fresh peeled garlic
2 cups of sunflower oil (can be even olive oil)
3/4 cup of fresh Lemon
3/4 teaspoon of salt
-Put all the garlic with a spoon of lemon in the blender.
-Begin to mix and slowly add lemon then oil – again lemon and oil – until the ingredients are consumed while mixing.
-Mixing takes 3-4 minutes.
-Garlic mayonnaise will be a creamy consistency.
