Wanted Luxor, but failed…

If anyone ask me, what is the most beautiful city in Egypt? I would answer him Luxor – instantly even without visiting this city. I have a lot of popular cities in Egypt and, of course, one of them is even my home Alexandria, but Luxor is something more than a pearl of the Mediterranean Sea. I would call this town a Diamond of the world.

This is such an incredibly beautiful city that you can not even imagine. Extensive architecture with history and fame is connected with nowadays world. On one side you can see ruins from the times of Pharaoh, thousands of sphinxes, tample of Karnak, and, on the other hand, a modern city with stars hotels. For this reason we call Luxor an open air museum.

However, Luxor was loved from the very beginning even in Pharaoh’s time. And for centuries it is the capital of Egypt and the center of religion. Many nations, such as the Turks, the Greeks, the Syrians, the Babylonians, the Lybanes, wanted to conquer the city, but they never were able to do it.

What an amazing places can we visit in Luxor?

On the east bank of Nile we will see the miracles for which the visitors come here and everybody should see them: Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, Mummification museum, Luxor museum and Airport.

On the west bank of Nile is more for lovers of history, they will feel here as in the 7th heaven: Valley of the Kings and Queens, Medinet Habu, The Ramesseum, Deir el-Medina, Temple of Hatshepsut, Malkata and Colossi of Memmon.

At the end you definitely have to see everything if you come visit Luxor. and today I want to thank to my amazing friend who just visited Luxor week ago and brought me these authentical photos which I just shared with you. So enjoy it.
